You have used our autoclear service to request customs clearance, but your UPS parcel still has COD charges?
This is a rare scenario, but in situations where the COD tag has already been created by UPS (usually following the parcels arrival in Canada) they may not have enough time to remove it before their initial delivery attempt. In this case, you have two options:
- Refuse the package and call UPS to have them remove your COD tag. Reaffirm to UPS that Border Bee is your customs broker.
- UPS should obey your request and attempt a second delivery with the COD tag removed
- Pay the fees if the package is urgent
- You will not be charged anything by Border Bee if you choose to pay the UPS charges
